Ltek Systems is one of the pioneer Indian Companies in the field of on site water analysis. The company was established with an object to develop the simple analytical solutions to complex procedures without sacrificing reliability and performance.
At present we are targeting potable drinking water but our aim is to diversify into all categories of water like wastewater, effluents, untreated water, ground & surface water, boiler, cooling and swimming pool water.
Our experience in the field of water will be explored for agriculture and food. We aim to introduce the water treatment and purification systems also.
The history of Ltek Systems begins with that of Indian Chemical Specialties, a proprietary firm, formed in 1979 to manufacture Chlorine tablets & Chloroscope with the knowhow from National Environmental Engineering Research Institute, (NEERI a CSIR lab) Nagpur, India.
Government of India formed Water Technology Mission in 1987 to provide safe drinking water to its rural population. NEERI was entrusted the responsibility of coordinating efforts of all the R&D organizations involved in the mission. Indian Scientists developed a number of concepts for analysis of water on site or source for use of layman. These concepts were converted into “Field kits”, the commercial products, by formation of Ltek Systems by us.
Introduction of H2S Strip Test Kit is one of the milestones in the history of Ltek Systems.
Now we make number of products for microbiological and chemical analysis of drinking water, for onsite application or laboratory use.
Recently, we entered the water treatment sector employing de-fluoridation of drinking water with the use of electro coagulation, which also works on solar power.
From the field, from the users and applications, we have learned a lot, which increased our knowledge & experience. This helped us to make modifications, innovation and introduction of new products with appropriate technology.
We are sourcing the technologies after the identification and verification from various reputed research organizations of India like CSIR Laboratories, Defense laboratories, Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) and International agencies like UNICEF.
